Better Off Out – GO rally – Part I – 4th March : BOO

This week our podcast comes from the Grassroots Out Campaign Rally that was held in Westminster on 19 February. Close on 2,000 people packed into the Queen Elizabeth Hall to listen. It was a thrilling event with a magnetic atmosphere

The first speaker was David Campbell-Bannerman, Conservative MEP for East Anglia.

Next up was Bill Cash, Conservative MP for Stone. A veteran of the Eurosceptic cause.

Gerard Batten was on next. He is UKIP MEP for London and one of the more thoughtful speakers of the evening. And the most amusing.

Kate Hoey is Labour MP for Vauxhall and a key figure in Labour Leave.

Tom Pursglove is the youngest Conservative MP. He brings a youthful look to the campaign.

That’s it for this week. Don’t forget that you can learn more about this campaign on our website www.BetterOffOut.net. We are also on Facebook and Twitter and we have our own YouTube Channel as well.

Tune in next week for Part 2 with David Davis, John Boyd, Ruth Lea, Nigel Farage and George Galloway.

This week we return to that conference for two special pieces. The first is a talk to Cllr Lawrence Webb of UKIP. The second is the full speech by Tim Congdon, one of the most intelligent of the economists working for Brexit.

First Cllr Lawrence Webb.

And second the speech by Tim Congdon, delivered to a packed hall at the Abbey Centre.
